Most common record types
- A: points a name to an IPv4.
- AAAA: points to an IPv6.
- CNAME: alias to another name (cannot coexist with other types on the same name).
- MX: mail servers, with priority.
- TXT: SPF, DKIM, DMARC and verifications.
Propagation
Changes propagate in 5–30 minutes depending on TTL. Verify with dig yourdomain.com or nslookup.
