We are now in Los Angeles. Our new location, LAX1, joins Miami and Dallas and completes our coast-to-coast coverage of the United States. It is the location asked for by everyone working with video, media and gaming on the West Coast — and by everyone serving users on the far side of the Pacific.

The 9950X with 192 GB is the one for virtualisation, many containers, or databases that want to live in memory. The 7950X carries Gen5 NVMe, faster on sequential reads and writes: the one you would pick for transcoding, video ingest, or anything moving large files every day.

What to expect from deployment

VPS deploy themselves within minutes. LAX1 dedicated servers are provisioned by hand, with a window of 1 to 7 business days: we would rather tell you up front than promise fifteen minutes and leave you waiting. If you need a specific configuration — more IPv4, a 10 Gbps uplink, custom RAID — you ask for it in the order itself.
